Day 7

Today is the 7th day of the fries.. you can notice the difference in their size..
and i did a 1/4 water change to the tank..

Day 4- 5

Today Marks the 4-5th day of the fries, seemed like more and more getting out..  no idea if they are bigger or ? however saw 1-2dead fries, i siphon them out.. Shall add 1 x 500ml water into the tank to ease the water from contaminate.

Fries Day 3

Morning fed BBS @ 7am, couple more fries were napping the BBS,
came home around 6pm, saw our tank btm were cleaner than yday due to the uneaten BBS, and fed the BBS about 2ml concentrated. Checked at 8pm almost all BBS had been eaten, and this is the video recorded. For Day 3 8pm,(Around 85+hours since hatched). Around 30-40Fries seen, more than what i was expected on day 1 which i counted around 7..

Fry Log Day 2

Today the day 2 of my fry just hatched.. at about 5pm. 1-3 fries were free swimming, tried fed with live bbs, only one were eating.. =(
2-3fries dead probably due to water depth too high for it to take his first breathe..
9:30pm, fed 2nd round of bbs, a few number were nipping on them. But still lots of uneaten BBS even thou i had fed even less amount..

Points to learn: Should have kept water depth 4inches and below; concentrated bbs probably 1-2drops will be more than enough..

Ranchu Fry Log

On 18/1/2016 @ 1800hrs, just got home from work, checked on my ranchu's tank and found several eggs (Like a round dot ball) lying around the tank bottom and plants.
Some Turned White in colour, some transparent, i've googled and fellow mates stated to take out the parents of the goldfish(otherwise they eat them all up). Do a drastic water change 80-100% of the water( make sure its de-chlorinated) Water Level Depth Kept at 6 inches(should have kept at 4inch) below . Added few drops of methylene blue to protect the eggs from fungus, water is skyblue in colour. Kept Aeration Medium-High. Switched Off Filtrations.

On 19/1 @ 1800hrs(24hrs later), sucked out whitish eggs (fungus spoilt eggs) , and checked on eggs. Some has black dots in it. Seems pretty good.

20/1 @ 1730hrs, some fries spawned, laying around the tank/ stuck at sides of the tank/ plants motionless, like a Big Comma. Prepared Baby Brine Shrimp Hatchery(Look at betta fish guide blog link for spawning of bbs hatchery guide).
Some eggs turned white, I'd ignored it. And change Air-Aeration to low.
